apologies go out for not having written a post last friday. i was on the road playing in leipzig, which has been really BIG fun! the gig took place at ilses erika with pascal fuhlbrügge and the dance inc and has been quite a success - so many people approached me and said that they liked my show… wow, thanks! i’ll post some pics to flickr as soon as my camera’s batteries are being recharged…

pascal fuhlbrügge also rocked the shit. it’s been very cool to meet him since he’s one of the protagonists of the so-called "hamburger schule", an "indie"-style which became famous in germany during the beginning of the 90s and which i’ve been a huge fan of. we swapped cds and i’m listening to his album right now - more about that in a few days.

new "persona non grata" magazine is now available. in case you don’t know: it’s a renowned german 3-monthly overview for everything going on underneath the sales charts radar. it contains interviews, tons of write-ups on music, literature and so on. each issue is featuring a central topic (which, in this issue, is food***) and a label special plus compilation cd (which, in this issue, is audiolith). the audiolith special contains EXCELLENT articles on audiolith itself and audiolithed artists like plemo, dance inc, clickclickdecker, tante renate, egotronic and - of course - me. "persona non grata" is definitely feeling what miki mikron is about, as they put together a very profound 1 1/2 page article about me. other featured artists in png issue #68 are: coldcut, m83, client, james murphy and many many more. you can get hold of your copy (136 pages plus cd) for 6 eur at your nearby newsstand or by ordering online via www.png-online.de.

*** btw, here’s a recipe for delicious pasta with zucchini, feta & lime (for 2 persons): marinate 200 grams feta in the juice of 1 lime. while cooking ribbon pasta, take 1 big zucchini and plane it into fine pieces. warm up some olive oil in a pan and put the zucchini in. reduce heat to minimum & stir it up a few times. spice it with salt and nutmeg. add the al dente pasta & the feta and spice it all with plenty of dried herbs, for instance basil, dill, marjoram and march. wait a minute for the cheese to melt just a little. mjam.

due to release of this ish hot record: miKi miKron - "irgendwo nur nicht hier" there will be a big party taking place at the golden pudel klub this sunday, april 30th. as you might know, real popstars don’t play live concerts [except doing one song playback sets at fun fairs, shopping malls or in a new york discotheque], but for this special occasion i’ll make an exception. ;-) my concert will begin at midnight [on time(!)], so you can bring your kids.
